st. louis Family photography
Of all the possessions we have in this world, pictures of your family are one of the few things that grow more valuable over time.
I absolutely love family photography. I love capturing all the smiles and giggles between each member in the family. There are so many different types of family photography out there, too. While family photographers are more formal, they have you stand and pose. I like to think I'm a mix between a lifestyle photographer and that unposed, candid family photographer.
I don't like worrying so much about having everyone look at the camera, but more so about capturing how families interact. What’s real. That’s how I shoot. We don’t overly pose, but I do direct. Expect to have the majority of your photos be of natural interactions. I will grab all the random in-between moments not everyone sees. I shoot sunset family sessions. This means that your session will always be scheduled the hour before sunset to get that beautiful, magical golden hour glow. I feel like this just adds to your family's beauty and authenticity.
